Ciao! We’re Dani Ryan, and we’re sisters who write high-stakes, luxurious romances.
We were at two different places in our lives, but writing stemmed from a desire for escapism. The romantic stories of possessive alpha heroes and strong heroines were knocking around in our heads, demanding to be written. We listened and haven’t looked back since.
Both avid readers, we were always drawn to the written word, the way a fictional world can be penned and speak volumes and echo things about the real world. It’s those flawed, emotionally relatable characters that embody it, and that’s what we like to write. Intense modern romance with opulence and aspirational worlds. Glitz and glam that exudes from the page. A feeling of intrigue, wonder, and delight as your eyes soak up a deeply emotional and realistic yet profoundly beautiful landscape.
We kid that we should have been twins but one of us (Ryan) was too anxious to see the world, so she arrived early to the party. However, like branches on a tree, we may have diverged, but our roots are together, so we were always bound to end up here. We’re so glad to have you here too.

I, Dani, was an editor-in-chief at a digital and print publication with an emphasis on fashion and beauty in the wedding sphere. I served to deliver top trend reports and had a pulse on New York Bridal Fashion Week.
And I, Ryan, worked at a cosmetics and skincare company before becoming a digital editor for a wedding blog.

- I think Dante Alighieri is one of the most thought-provoking characters whose story spans decades.
- Dessert acts as the pinnacle of all my dinners, and it’s best to eat with a teaspoon in pure silence.
- Mythology is extremely fascinating to me, and I can easily read about it endlessly.
- Being part of a dance team growing up was one of the most grounding, beautiful experiences that certainly had a part in shaping me.
- I can pretty much recite The Proposal, and yet, will never pass up an opportunity to watch it.
Fun facts about Ryan
- An over-flowing closet still won’t stop me from looking in it and thinking I have nothing to wear.
- Georgia O’Keeffe is my favorite artist, and I think her work continues to influence modern art.
- My paperback copy of A Walk To Remember is the very definition of weathered, but I’ll never part with it.
- I could easily finish a bag of chips on my own because I will choose salty over sweet any day.
- Friends is my preferred show to fall asleep to, and when I watch it, I feel like I’m the seventh friend.
